This page explains which professionals appear when you search on Handydove, in what order, and how paid ads are marked.
A professional appears in your results only if their profile is active and complete, they offer a service that matches what you searched for, that service is available and has room for more jobs, its trust score is at least 20, and they cover your area. People you have blocked, or who have blocked you, never appear. If nobody is found nearby, the search area grows step by step.
Results are ordered by how well a professional's services match your search, combined with their distance from you, trust score, availability, how recently they were active and how quickly they usually respond. A small adjustment learns from which professionals clients chose for similar searches. When two results are equal, the closer one comes first.
Each service a professional offers has its own trust score, starting at 50:
Levels: Elite 80+, Verified 60+, Emerging 35+, Probation 20+. Below 20 a service is hidden from search and ads.
Professionals can pay for Home ads. Paid placements are always marked “AD”, and results we promote are marked “PROMOTED”. Paying for an ad does not change the order of ordinary search results.
Items in a professional's shop appear in the order the professional chooses, with their featured items first.
